Pastor John Howard Vaultz is a native of Lumberton Mississippi,received a Bachelor of Theology degree from Christian Bible College in Kenner La. on June 1st, 1982. He was licensed as a minister on April 24th 1983 at Greater St. Stephen Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Paul S. Morton.
 
Pastor Vaultz was ordained at the First Baptist Church on August 18th 1984 in Paradis La. under the leadership of Pastor Albert Charles.
 
In 1992 he began his ministry at the Mt. Airy Baptist Church under the leadership of his late Pastor John L. Dorsey. He served in serveral ministries. He taught Bible class, Vacation Bible school, Mission class, he was a member of the Prison Ministry at Nelson Coleman Correctional Center and he even drove the church Van.
 
On September 8th, 2009 Pastor Vaultz became Pastor elect of the Mt. Airy Baptist Church and was installed on October 25th 2009 as Senior Pastor.
 
 
Elder Gertrude Vaultz is a native of Boutte Louisiana, a chosen and anointed woman of God. Her Christian journey began by sharing her testimony of the saving power of Jesus Christ.
 
In 1992 God called her into the ministry and she began to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and sin sick world. She was licensed as a Missionary by 2nd District Missionary Baptist Association under the leadership of Pastor Isaiah Franklin and the late Pastor John Davis.
 
Elder Vaultz received her minister's license in 1997 and was ordained on July 12th 2003 as an Elder of the Mt. Airy Baptist Church by Apostle Clarence Vinnett and her late Pastor, Rev. John L. Dorsey.
 
Pastor Vaultz and Lady G have been married since 1991 and are the proud parents of one son Cardell Brown who lives in Dallas Texas along with his wife Adell and their two children Jarell and Jariell, the apple of their eyes.
